Happy Holidays, friends.
In the spirit of the season, I decided to recompose an ancient hymn, Christe, Redemptor Omnium, which dates back to the 6th century and is sung during the Christmas season. In this instrumental reinterpretation, the violin carries the (slightly altered) melody line, accompanied by orchestral voices and a lyrical reading of two verses from the regal Latin text.
Other new tracks available on the site today:
“The Untitled Second Song” on Words Will Follow, my new EP which I have been making available gradually since October. In January, I’ll publish the one remaining song left to be written.
“The Lord’s Prayer in Arabic and French (Feat. Jean B.)” on Sounds of Seeking
“The Lord’s Prayer in German (Feat. Khalil M.)” on Sounds of Seeking
I hope you enjoy listening to the new music and these prayers from around the world. See you in the new year.
